메피온의 Lapafilm은 국내외 최초로 개발된 Collagen type 1, 100%로 구성된 필름형 유착방지제로서, 국내 출시를 앞두고 있다. 기존에 해외 제품으로 사용중인 경쟁사 제품의 경우 인체친화적 재료로 구성되어 있지 않고, 유연성이 극도로 작아 복강경 및 최소침습수술에 사용이 불가하다는 단점이 있었지만, 자사가 개발한 제품인 Lapafilm의 경우 유연성 및 점착성이 있어 수술시 매우 유용한 사용성을 제공한다.
